Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Sneaky: Imposter Party Game ("Sneaky", "the app", "we", "us"). The short version: there are no accounts, games on one phone stay on that phone, online rooms keep only what the game needs and only while the room is open, and we don't sell or profile anyone. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google handles purchases.
No accounts, data stays on your device
You don't need an account to play. Everything the app remembers stays on your device:
- player names and avatars you type in or pick,
- your selected categories and game settings,
- the current game and its scores, recently used words, and drawings from Drawing mode,
- your sound, vibration and theme settings,
- whether you own the lifetime unlock, and a few counters (for example, how many rounds you have played) that decide when an ad or a review request may appear.
This information is never sent to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it.
Information we collect
We do not sell any personal data, and we don't build profiles. The app has no sign-in, no analytics and no crash reporting of our own. The only data that reaches our own server is described under "Online rooms" and "Our website" below.
Online rooms
When you create or join a room to play on several devices (in the app or in a browser at sneaky.9store.in), our room server at sneaky.9store.in receives:
- the player name and avatar you choose for that room,
- your moves in the game (for example your vote),
- a random room code and a random seat key so you can reconnect,
- your IP address, used only to block abuse (too many rooms or wrong codes).
The server keeps this in memory only while the room is open. A room is deleted 30 minutes after the last activity, 4 hours after it was created at the latest, or when everyone has left; nothing is written to a database. The other players in the room see your name, avatar, score and, at the end of a round, your vote. Our server logs contain only room codes and counts, never names, words or IP addresses.
Our website
Our website sneaky.9store.in has no ads, cookies or trackers. Like every web server, it records standard access logs (IP address, time, page and browser type) for security and troubleshooting; they are deleted automatically after about two weeks.
Purchases (Google Play)
The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase handled by Google Play. Google processes your payment under the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. The app only receives a confirmation from Google Play that the unlock is owned by your Google account, and keeps that on your device. We never see your payment details.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The free version shows a full-screen ad now and then between rounds (never during a round). Ads are served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process information from your device, such as:
- the device's advertising ID,
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- device and app information (model, operating system, language),
- how you interact with ads.
Google uses this under its own policies; see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Your choices:
- Consent. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent with Google's consent form before any ad is requested. You can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy choices.
- Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- No ads at all. The lifetime unlock removes ads for good; the ad service is then not used by the app.
Ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience (rated PG at most).
Ratings and reviews
The app may ask Google Play to show its built-in rating dialog after a fun round. Google handles the dialog and your review under its own policies; we don't receive anything unless you post a public review.
Sharing
When you tap Share, the app creates an image of the round's result and hands it to your device's share sheet. Nothing is shared unless you choose an app to share with.
Children
Sneaky is a party game for teens and adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.
Security
Data on your device is protected by your device's own security. Connections to our room server and website are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), and communication with Google Play and Google AdMob is encrypted by Google's services.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update it in the app and change the date at the top.
